In the case of a burn:
Hold the wound beforehand under cold (but not icy) water for 15 minutes to limit the extension of the burn.
In the event of a blister, do not pierce it.
In all cases :
Clean your hands with soap and water.
Clean the wound with water or saline solution.
Disinfect the wound and its surroundings with an anti-septic solution (without alcohol). In the case of a burn, never use colored antiseptics of the eosin type.
Using a sterile compress, carefully dry the lesion and its surroundings. Stop any bleeding by compressing.
Rinse with water or saline solution.
Open the bag, remove the dressing.
Remove the protective wings and apply the dressing to the wound.
Monitor the wound and its surroundings regularly.
The dressing should not remain in place for more than 5 days; it must be removed if it has not come off on its own.
Renew the dressing according to the instructions.
Withdrawal :
To remove the dressing, gently pull the dressing by one corner, parallel to the skin.
Stretch and release the dressing successively until it comes off. You can moisten the skin if needed.
In children remove the dressing gently and carefully.
