As often as necessary
Before sun exposure, apply 1 finger's width¹ of product to the face and neck. Reapply frequently to maintain protection, especially after sweating, swimming, or toweling.
Don't stay in the sun too long, even if you're using sunscreen. Overexposure to the sun is dangerous. Avoid sun exposure between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. Keep babies and young children out of direct sunlight. Wear protective clothing (wide-brimmed hat, sunglasses, t-shirt, etc.). Avoid contact with eyes, and if contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with clean water.
1 By reducing this amount, you significantly decrease the level of protection.
