Bactigyn vaginal suppositories should only be administered vaginally. Do not swallow.
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity or incompatibility with other components of the product.
This product is not intended for pediatric use. Do not use if under 18 years of age.
Keep the product out of the sight and reach of children.
Do not use the product if the packaging, upon first opening, is damaged or not perfectly intact.
Do not use the product after the expiry date indicated on the packaging.
Risk of interactions:
Use with other concomitant topical treatments is not recommended.
Possible side effects:
Prolonged use of this product, as with all topical products, may cause sensitization or local irritation. If this occurs, or if other adverse effects develop, discontinue use and consult a doctor or pharmacist.
Do not use during pregnancy and breastfeeding, as this has not been tested.
The recommended dose is one suppository per day, to be administered in the evening before bedtime, for at least seven consecutive days in cases of moderate symptoms or 10 consecutive days if symptoms persist, at the end of the menstrual cycle or as directed by the treating physician. On the advice of the treating physician, several non-consecutive treatment cycles may be repeated to increase or maintain the effects obtained.
Do not exceed the recommended dosage of one ovule per day.
After washing your hands, remove one suppository from the blister pack by separating the flaps. Lying on your back, insert the suppository deep into the vagina after thoroughly cleaning the intimate area.
