Dosage: The oral syringe is graduated in ml. The dose corresponding to the 5 ml graduation on the oral syringe contains 100 mg of carbocysteine.

Pediatric population

Children aged 2 to 5 years: 200 mg per day, divided into 2 doses, i.e. a dose of 5 ml from the syringe for oral administration 2 times a day.

Children over 5 years: 300 mg per day, divided into 3 doses, i.e. a dose of 5 ml from the oral administration syringe 3 times a day.

Duration of treatment: It should be brief, from 8 to 10 days.

Syrup:

Carbocysteine 2 g/100 ml.

Excipients:

Sucrose, Banana flavour, (Isoamyl acetate, Ethyl butyrate, Amyl butyrate, Vanillin, Triacetin, Propylene glycol, Alcohol), Methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E 218), Sodium hydroxide, Purified water.

Excipients with known effect: sodium, sucrose, methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E218), ethanol.
