Consult your doctor or pharmacist before using GILBERT CHILDREN'S GLYCERIN SUPPOSITORIES, suppository.
DO NOT USE PROLONGEDLY WITHOUT MEDICAL ADVICE
Occasional constipation:
It may be related to a recent change in lifestyle (travel). The medication can be helpful for short-term treatment. Any constipation accompanied by pain, fever, or abdominal swelling should prompt a consultation with a doctor.
Chronic constipation (long-term constipation):
It can be linked to two causes:
• either an intestinal disease requiring medical attention,
• or to an imbalance in intestinal function due to dietary habits and lifestyle.
It is advisable to seek advice from your doctor or pharmacist.
Children
In children, the treatment of constipation is based on lifestyle and dietary measures: including using the correct amount of water with infant milk powders, a diet rich in plant-based products, and the addition of fruit juices.
Treatment with a rectal laxative without medical advice is contraindicated (regular use can interfere with the normal functioning of the defecation reflex).
Precautions for use
It is best not to use medication in cases of colonic disease.
