The dosage is 1 to 2 sachets per day, preferably taken all at once in the morning.

The contents of each sachet must be dissolved in a glass of water just before administration.

The effect of MACROGOL 4000 SANDOZ is usually seen within 24 to 48 hours of administration. In children, in the absence of clinical data beyond 3 months, the duration of treatment should not exceed 3 months.

The improvement in intestinal transit induced by the treatment will be maintained by hygiene and dietary measures.

The daily dose should be adjusted according to the clinical effects obtained and can range from 1 sachet every other day (especially in children) to 2 sachets per day.

Macrogol 4000 10.000 g, orange-grapefruit flavoring 0.15 g, sodium saccharin 0.017 g per 10.17 g sachet. Sorbitol and sulfur dioxide are components of the orange-grapefruit flavoring. Sorbitol (E420) 1.8 mg per sachet. Sulfur dioxide (E220) 0.24 x 10⁻² mg per sachet. Excipients: sodium saccharin (E954) and orange-grapefruit flavoring. Composition of the orange-grapefruit flavor: essential oils of orange and grapefruit, concentrated orange juice, citral, acetaldehyde, linalool, ethyl butyrate, alpha terpineol, octanal, beta gamma hexenol, maltodextrin, gum arabic, sorbitol (E420), BHA (E320) and sulfur dioxide (E220).
