Originally from Equatorial Africa, desmodium is a perennial plant whose medicinal properties were discovered in Cameroon in the 1960s. Used as a hepatoprotector, desmodium contributes to the proper functioning of the liver.

Using advice

I prepare my herbal tea:
Infusion:
Pour 1 to 2 tablespoon(s) of plants into simmering water and leave to infuse for 3 to 10 minutes.
Decoction:
Immerse the plant in boiling water and keep boiling for 10 to 30 minutes then leave to infuse off the heat for 15 to 30 minutes depending on the desired concentration.

Indication

To be used as part of a healthy lifestyle and not to be used as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Keep out of reach of children. Storage takes place in a dry place away from light. Store away from humidity and heat.
