This cough suppressant syrup is for adults and children over 2 years old.
The usual dosage for adults and children over 40 kg (i.e., 12 years old) is 10 ml per dose, 4 times a day.
For children under 12 years of age, the dosage will depend on their weight.
For a child weighing 13 to 20 kg (i.e., 2 to 6 years old), the dose is 5 ml, 2 to 3 times a day.
For children weighing 20 to 30 kg (6 to 10 years old), 10 ml of syrup per dose, 2 to 3 times a day, while for children weighing 30 to 40 kg (10 to 12 years old), the dose is 10 ml per dose, 3 to 4 times a day.
The syrup doses must be spaced at least 4 hours apart and the dosage is made possible by the measuring cup provided.
Treatment with UPSA Oxomemazine should be short and taken when coughing.
If you miss a dose, do not double the next dose.
