Dosage

The dosage is 1 to 2 sachets per day (10 to 20 g) preferably taken in a single dose in the morning.

The daily dose should be adjusted according to the clinical effects obtained and can range from 1 sachet every other day (especially in children) to 2 sachets per day.

The effect of FORLAX is manifested within 24 to 48 hours of administration.

Pediatric population: In children, given the lack of clinical data beyond 3 months, the duration of treatment should not exceed 3 months. The improvement in bowel movements induced by the treatment should be maintained by lifestyle and dietary measures.

Method of administration: The contents of each sachet must be dissolved in a glass of water just before administration.

Excipients: Sodium saccharin (E 954), Orange flavour, Grapefruit flavour, (Orange essential oil, Grapefruit essential oil, Concentrated orange juice, Citral, Acetic aldehyde, Linalool, Ethyl butyrate, Alpha terpineol, Octanal, Beta gamma hexenol, Maltodextrin, Gum arabic, Sorbitol, Butylhydroxyanisole (E 320), Sulphur dioxide (E 220)), q.s. 1 sachet.

Excipient(s) with known effect: sulfur dioxide, sorbitol. Sorbitol (E420): 1.8 mg per sachet. Sulphur dioxide (E220): 0.24 x 10^-2 mg per sachet.
