Movicol Lemon Flavor Powder for Oral Solution 20 sachets

FOR ADULT USE ONLY. The dosage is 1 to 2 sachets per day, preferably taken as a single dose in the morning. It is usually unnecessary to exceed 1 sachet per day in elderly patients. The effect of MOVICOL is usually noticeable within 24 to 48 hours of administration.

In case of fecal impaction, the recommended dose is 8 sachets per day, divided into 2 daily doses of 4 sachets in 500 ml of water morning and evening for a period of 1 to 3 days.

The administration will be stopped as soon as a satisfactory evacuation of the accumulated fecal matter is achieved.

Specific measures will be put in place to minimize the risk of recurrence.

Each sachet must be dissolved in a glass of water.

Powder for oral solution: Macrogol 3350 13.125 g, Sodium bicarbonate 178.5 mg, Potassium chloride 46.6 mg, Sodium chloride 350.7 mg.

Excipients: Lemon flavour, (Lemon essential oil, Lime essential oil, Citric acid, Dextrin, Vegetable gum), Acesulfame potassium, qs 1 sachet.

Sodium content: 190 mg per sachet.

Potassium content: 26.38 mg per sachet.
