- To contribute to the good health of the venous system of the legs by increasing return circulation, by supplying blood charged with more oxygen and by reducing swelling (edema) of the legs, feet and ankles.
- Improve circulation to reduce or prevent blood pooling (stasis) caused by immobilization after surgery.
- Improve circulation to reduce or prevent blood pooling (stasis) caused by diabetes.
- Reduce pain and discomfort in the legs/ankles/feet caused by diabetic neuropathy.
- Reduce leg/ankle/foot swelling caused by sedentary lifestyle during osteoarthritis or after an injury.
- Reduce pain and discomfort in the legs/ankles/feet or swelling (edema) due to osteoarthritis or following surgery.
- Strengthening muscles to help restore mobility in legs affected by immobility resulting from osteoarthritis, COPD or surgery.
Indication for the use of TENS stimulation:
- Temporary relief from lower back pain
- Relief from chronic pain in the elbow or shoulder caused by injuries or overuse.
Not suitable if you:
- Wear a pacemaker or an implanted automatic defibrillator
- Are you being treated for, or do you have symptoms of, deep vein thrombosis (DVT)?
