Septivon 1.5% antiseptic solution 250ml

Septivon 1.5% is intended for topical application, either neat or diluted. This medication can be used for washing, soaking, or vulvar cleansing.

This antiseptic solution contains chlorhexidine gluconate: 1.5% per 100 ml of solution, combined with a foaming agent to facilitate washing of areas.

Septivon 1.5% is used for cleaning small skin wounds or infected or potentially infected lesions. It can also be used to clean a larger area of your skin. Its action will reduce the number of microorganisms and germs already present on the wound (antiseptic action).

The dosage depends on how and why you are using this medication. Always follow your doctor's instructions. If you are using this medication without a prescription, do not hesitate to ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice. Always read the package leaflet carefully before using any medication.

Pure: apply the antiseptic solution to the wound to be disinfected using a compress:
Dilution: 3 capfuls of antiseptic solution per 1 liter of water;
Soaking: 3 capfuls of antiseptic solution for 2 liters of water;
Vulvar cleansing: 3 capfuls of antiseptic solution per liter of water. Rinse thoroughly after applying the Septivon 1.5% solution.

Contraindications to the use of the drug Septivon 1.5%:

allergy to chlorhexidine or any of the components (see leaflet);
Do not apply to the eyes or ear canals.
premature babies and infants without prior medical advice.
