Smecta Strawberry - Anti Diarrhetic - 18 sachets

In infants under 2 years old, Smecta 3g strawberry should not be used.

In children over 2 years old, it can only be delivered in the event of acute diarrhea, for a maximum of 7 days and combined with an oral rehydration solution (ORS).
We advise the administration of 4 sachets per day for 3 days then 2 sachets per day for 4 days.

In adults, repeated or prolonged use of Smecta 3g is not recommended.
On average The adult will take in case of acute diarrhea 3 sachets per day for 7 days. Knowing that in practice, the dosage can be doubled at the start of treatment.

The contents of the sachet can be diluted in half a glass of water or mixed in semi-liquid food (compote, small pots, porridge...).

In case of esophagitis, it is advisable to take Smecta after meals during esophagitis, or away from meals in other indications.

Taking too large a dose of SMECTA 3 g STRAWBERRY can cause constipation, which usually disappears when the dose is reduced or treatment is stopped.

Smecta 3 g should not be taken in case of allergy to any of the constituents of this medication.

It is best to consult your doctor if the disorders do not disappear in 7 days or if the pains are associated with a fever or vomiting.

In the event of diarrhoea, you are advised to rehydrate yourself with abundant drinks, salty or sweet, in order to compensate for the losses of liquid due to diarrhea (the average daily ration of water for an adult is 2 litres), d Exclude raw vegetables, fruits, green vegetables, spicy dishes, as well as frozen foods or drinks from your diet, and favor grilled meats and rice.

The use of this medication is not recommended in patients with glucose-galactose malabsorption syndrome.
