Urgo waterproof dressings are flexible sterile dressings that resist water and protect everyday wounds. They consist of an antiseptic compress that isolates the skin from water and bacteria and does not stick to the wound. They let the skin breathe, are covered with a transparent veil allowing the wound to be monitored and are recommended for showering, bathing or if you go swimming at sea or in the pool. They are pre-cut and come in two different formats.

Using advice

Clean, disinfect, rinse and dry the wound and its surroundings carefully.
Apply the dressing, carefully smoothing the edges.
Change the dressing at least twice a day

Composition

Compress impregnated with benzalkonium chloride (960mg/m²).

Indication/Contraindication

Precautions for use: Not suitable for children under 1 year. In the event of foreign bodies in the wound, heavy bleeding, bite, puncture with a sharp and/or dirty object or if you do not notice any improvement in healing after 6 days, consult your pharmacist or doctor. Adverse effects: Like any dressing, this product can cause skin reactions such as dermatitis, irritation or even pain on removal. To minimize any risk of infection or skin reactions: Strictly follow the instructions for use. Do not reuse a used dressing. Do not use on wounds longer or wider than the compress and likely to overflow from it. Do not apply to eyes, thin skin or mucous membranes. Do not use after the expiry date. Do not use a damaged product.
