The choice of the flow rate of the teat depends on the age and the sucking power of the baby, parameters which can vary from one baby to another. The ages are given as an indication.
If formula is mixed with infant cereal or soup, it may be helpful to switch to a higher rate. There are also specific flow rates: special thickened liquid flow rate at Dodie.
Before the first use, put the product in boiling water and leave it for 5 minutes for hygienic reasons.
• Before each use, clean the teat by hand. Examine and pull the teat in all directions. Throw it away at the first signs of deterioration or fragility. Do not expose the pacifier to direct sunlight or heat.
• For cold sterilization, carefully follow the instructions for use and take care not to leave the teat in the sterilizing solution for longer than indicated. Drain the bottle and teat well before preparing the bottle.
• For hot sterilization (steam or microwave), carefully follow the advice given in the instructions for the device used.

This product should always be used under adult supervision. Never use a bottle nipple as a pacifier.
• Continuous and prolonged sucking of liquids can lead to the appearance of dental cavities, even with unsweetened liquids.
• Always check the temperature of the food before giving the bottle. Microwave heating can locally generate high temperatures.
• The Dodie teat must be used with a Dodie bottle and fixed with the tightening ring.
• Replace the teat at least every 6 weeks for health and safety reasons.
