Hexicid antiseptic spray solution belongs to the category of dermatological disinfectant and antiseptic medications. Developed by Cooper Laboratories, it is indicated in particular for the antisepsis of superficial and small wounds.

The active ingredients in Cooper's Hexicid antiseptic solution are:

- Chlorhexidine gluconate: 0.250 g
- Benzalkonium chloride: 0.025 g
- Benzyl alcohol: 4 ml

Hexicid antiseptic solution is a topical antiseptic: its action reduces the number of microorganisms present in the treated area. It should not be used on a large surface area or under an occlusive dressing.

Hexicid Antiseptic Solution is used once or twice a day, for no more than 5 consecutive days. This solution for topical application does not require rinsing after use. It is for external use only and on the skin only: do not use it on mucous membranes, nor for disinfecting medical or surgical equipment.
