Natalben Pregnancy is a food supplement formulated to meet the nutritional needs of pregnant women. Its complete composition supports the well-being of the expectant mother throughout her pregnancy and promotes optimal baby development*.

Natalben Pregnancy contains the following essential nutrients:

- Omega-3 fatty acids (DHA) and lutein, zeaxanthin, which contribute to the baby's cognitive development and eye function. (1)

- Folic acid (also called vitamin B9 or folate) in the form of 5-methyltetrahydrofolate (Quatrefolic®), a directly active form that is highly absorbed by all women. Folic acid supplementation increases maternal folate status. Low maternal folate status increases the risk of neurological malformations in the unborn baby.

- Vitamin B12 contributes to the normal functioning of the nervous system and plays a role in the process of cell division. It also participates in the metabolism of folic acid. (2)

- Iodine contributes to the normal production of thyroid hormones and to normal thyroid function. Thyroid hormones play a key role in our body, particularly for the proper development and functioning of the nervous system.

Vitamin D contributes to the normal absorption and utilization of calcium, which is essential for good bone health. It plays a major role in the mineralization of your child's skeleton. Furthermore, your vitamin D reserves will be used at the end of your pregnancy to build up those of your baby. Vitamin D is only partially obtained through diet (primarily from cod liver oil, eggs, butter, and oily fish). Vitamin D deficiencies are therefore common.
