ZymaD Viatris oral drops is a medicine recommended for the whole family to compensate for vitamin D deficiency due to lack of sun exposure, vitamin D being essential for maintaining good bone structure and normal bone development in infants and children.

ZymaD is administered orally. The recommended dosage depends on the pediatric population: Premature infants: 4 to 5 drops daily. From 0 to 24 months: with vitamin D-fortified milk: 2 to 3 drops daily; without vitamin D-fortified milk: 4 to 5 drops daily; with pigmented skin: 8 drops daily. Children and adolescents: without digestive disorders: 2 to 3 drops daily; with digestive disorders: 2 to 6 drops daily; receiving anticonvulsants: 5 to 6 drops daily.
The active ingredient is: Cholecalciferol (vitamin D3) (10,000 IU/ml). The other ingredients are: Sweet orange essential oil, refined olive oil for injection, mixture of natural alpha, beta, gamma and delta tocopherols (COVI-OX T70).
