Puressentiel's organic calendula oil is a 100% pure and natural vegetable oil for topical use. It is obtained by macerating calendula petals (Calendula officinalis) in cold-pressed sunflower oil.

To create its calendula oil, Puressentiel follows a simple process. Before maceration, rosemary extract is added to sunflower oil to protect the carotenoids, which are sensitive to oxidation. The calendula petals are then immersed in this mixture for 4 to 6 weeks and stirred regularly. Finally, at the end of the maceration period, the petals are extracted and the macerate is filtered.
