Saforelle Pelvi'Tonic+ is a medical device for perineal rehabilitation without waves, to prevent and reduce light to moderate urinary incontinence by strengthening the perineum.
At different stages of their lives, women may experience episodes of incontinence, urinary leakage, particularly during pregnancy or after childbirth: the perineal muscles relax due to the efforts exerted during pushing.
During menopause, hormonal changes can also lead to a weakening of the perineal muscles, and cause uncontrollable urinary leakage.
To minimize pelvic floor weakness or reduce urinary incontinence, it is advisable to perform pelvic floor strengthening exercises or use a device designed to tone and strengthen the muscles that control the bladder, uterus, rectum, and sphincter. If these muscles are not sufficiently strengthened, a woman may experience very bothersome urinary incontinence on a daily basis, during physical exertion, menopause, or even when coughing and sneezing.
That's why Saforelle created Pelvi Tonic+, an easy-to-use, discreet, and unobtrusive intravaginal device that allows you to perform your pelvic floor rehabilitation at home. Simply wear it during your daily activities, without even thinking about it.
Pelvi'Tonic+ by Saforelle is specially designed to prevent and reduce urinary incontinence in women. Its mode of action helps strengthen the pelvic floor muscles and improve the tone of the perineum.
This accessory features an ergonomic shape for gentle insertion into the vagina and a better fit against the vaginal walls. The spherical part is designed to hold a small weighted ball which, due to its weight, will trigger reflexive contractions of the pelvic floor muscles. The goal is to easily retain Pelvi Tonic+ without feeling any heaviness in the pelvic floor.
Pelvi'Tonic+ is based on the techniques used by physiotherapists during perineal rehabilitation sessions: the reflex muscles of the pelvic floor are stimulated by the sphere, causing them to contract automatically and immediately. This allows the perineum to regain its strength and tone, in order to:
- to prevent urinary incontinence,
- to prevent organ prolapse,
- to rediscover more sensation during sexual intercourse.
