Phytobiane Liquorice

Phytobiane Liquorice is a food supplement developed by Laboratoire Pileje. Its formula contains an organic liquorice extract (Glycyrrhiza glabra L.). In herbal medicine, liquorice is traditionally used to support digestive comfort.

Pileje Phytobiane Liquorice is based on one key ingredient: liquorice root. Liquorice is a perennial plant found in the meadows of south-eastern Europe and western Asia. It has highly developed underground parts, yellow in colour and naturally sweet. To develop its Phytobiane Liquorice, Pileje selected liquorice grown in Navarre, a region of Spain known for its expertise in liquorice cultivation.

Laboratoire Pileje ensures plant quality through controlled supply chains that meet strict specifications. Research carried out in partnership with growers helps optimise the active-compound content of the plants and their preservation up to the extraction stage. Pileje thereby obtains plant raw materials with a unique phytochemical fingerprint.

Pileje then applies an extraction process specific to each plant to obtain the Pileje Phyto-Signature Complex (CPSP), which guarantees its biological activity.
