1. Ensure the pouch is at room temperature before heating it.
2. Place the pouch flat in the microwave. Based on a 1200W microwave oven, heat on full power for 60 seconds.
3. Carefully remove the pouch from the microwave and check that the desired temperature is comfortable for you. The temperature will continue to rise slightly. If additional heat is needed, return the pouch to the microwave and heat for another 10 seconds, up to a total of 80 seconds. Monitor the pouch while it is heating, as excessive heat may cause it to rupture, leak, or burn.
4. Knead the pouch well to distribute the heat evenly.
5. If the temperature is acceptable, apply the pack to the affected area. If the pack is too hot, remove it and reapply it when the temperature is acceptable.
6. If you need to heat it further, follow steps 1 to 5 again.
Store at room temperature for later use when warm. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE BATH 1. Immerse the pack in boiling water for 4 minutes (if the pack was at room temperature) to 5 minutes (if the pack was in the freezer). 2. Remove the pack from the water and dry it. 3. Test the pack's temperature before applying it to your skin. You can first apply it to a piece of fabric as a precaution. If the temperature is comfortable, you can apply the pack directly to the affected area.
FREEZER INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Place the bag in the freezer for at least 2 hours.
2. Remove the pack from the freezer. Test the temperature to determine your personal comfort level. If it is acceptable, apply the pack to the affected area. Note: As freezer temperatures vary, regularly check the skin during application to avoid frostbite. Cold affects everyone differently; always let comfort be your guide. The pack can be stored in the freezer for later use in cold conditions.
